He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Claire Chan; his children, Leonard Chan (Sidrah) and Janice Chan (Trevor Hayes); his granddaughter Cleo Wee-Chian Hayes; and his siblings, Tai Keong Chan (Irene), Tai Chuan Chan (Cecilia), Soh Lian Lock (Sai Hung), Soh Keng Wee, Soh Lin Choo (Lee Sai) and Doris VandenBergen (Herman). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews; and many friends.
