He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile Mathieu and Florence Mathieu; his former wife Patricia Charland; and his siblings, Kievin Mathieu (Marilyn), Anita Latour (late Jack) and Elaine Mitchel (late Buz).
He is survived by: his wife Anne Robb-Mathieu; his children, Katherine Brian (Guy), Christine Mathieu, Edward Mathieu, Karen Mathieu (Raymonde), Paul Mathieu (Linda), Keith Mathieu (Natalie), Tim Robb (Lesley) and Joe Robb (Lyne); and his siblings, Roland Mathieu (late Brenda) and Phyllis Mathieu. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Mary's Cemetery (132 Golf Club Rd, North Bay, ON P1B9T8).
Donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the North Bay Regional Health Centre- Cancer Care.
