He was predeceased by: his wife Fay McKever; his siblings, Richard McKever and Karen Morin (Michael); and his parents, Vivian McKever and Betty.

He is survived by: his children, Scott Mckever (Shannon), Kevin Mckever (Michelle) and Johanna George (Carl Barnes); and his grandchildren, Molly, Samuel, Madeleine, Maya and Drake.
