He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip O'Hare and Jean O'Hare of North Bay; and his brothers-in-law, Myles Watson, Bruce Watson and Don Praill.

He is survived by: his wife Norma O'Hare; his children, Kristen Smalldon (Rob) and Scott (Vie); his grandchildren, Robbie, Bekah and Ryann; his brother Micheal (Colleen) of Oshawa, Ontario.; and his siblings-in-law, Vernon Watson (Shirley), Helen (Larry Jeanneault), Betty Praill and Bernie Watson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Services Ltd. (362 Airport Rd, North Bay, ON P1B8W9).
