He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Cantin; his sisters, Colleen Masson, Collette Hudson, Joanne Holtz and Judy Ling; and his parents, Ernest Cantin and Isabelle Cantin.

He is survived by: his wife Colette; his grandchild Ryan; his daughters, Jadzia, Katrina (Justin) and Jamie; and his stepgrandchildren, Josh, Brianne, Brittany, Jordan and Bradley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
