He was predeceased by: his brother Gilbert Joly (Jackie); and his parents, Lucien Joly and Fernande Joly. He is survived by: his wife Rose Joly; his children, Tina Francioni (Dave), Andre Joly and Janet Joly; his grandchildren, Matthew, Isabella, Tristen and Kieren; and his siblings, Maurice Joly (Glenice) and Gisele Joly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B3Z8). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pro Cathedral (480 McIntyre St W, North Bay, ON P1B2Z4).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian cancer society would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
