She was predeceased by: her siblings, Robert, Peter Whiteduck, Molly Ringuette, Jackie Whalley, Patricia Duquette and Theresa Sampson; her husband Ernest Decheno; and her son Ernie Decheno.
She is survived by: her sisters, Marjorie Weber, Shirley Marcotte and Lorraine Liberty; her children, Judi Thorkelson (Paul Wilson), Rick Decheno (Joanne), Fred Decheno (Joyce) and Kimberly Stoneypoint (Robert); and her grandchildren, Sandra, Jason, Clayton, Travis, Wade, Wyatt, Fred Jr., Jimmy, Jennifer, Dallas, Shane and Hawk.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B3Z8). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the North Bay Humane Society or a pet rescue of your choice would be appreciated.
