Maria Caliciuri Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maria Caliciuri (North Bay, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Giuseppe Caliciuri; her son Vincenzo; her parents, Rocco (Giuseppina Scarfone) and Vincenzo (Maria Caliciuri); and her siblings, Santo (Anna), Antonia, Francesca (Domenico), Giuseppe (Carmosina), Stefano, Rosa (Placido), Antonino and Nicola.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Caliciuri, Josie Desrosiers (Bob) and Rocco Caliciuri; her grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Marina (Kari), Sabina (John), Kurt (Jen), Nadia (Riley), Nathan (Jenna), Bisnonna, Alora, Mika and Atlas "Don Rocco"; her in-laws, Maria Caliciuri (late Vincenzo), Romana Caliciuri (late Antonio) and Rosetta Scarfone; and her friend Joanne Taylor. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the McGuinty Funeral Home (591 Cassells St, North Bay, ON P1B3Z8). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 11:30 AM at 299 Airport Rd, North Bay, ON P1B8W7. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1075 Tower Dr, North Bay, ON P1B8G2).
