He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Vernon and Dorina Valentine (Martel). He is survived by: his daughter Emma Thornton (Zack) of Paisley, ON; his grandson Wesley; and his siblings, Peter Valentine (Trudy) of Halifax, NS and Gloria Tocher (Mark) of Virginia Beach, USA.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Paisley Missionary Church (307 Balaklava St, Paisley, ON N0G2N0).
