He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Wickett; and his father John Phelps. He is survived by: his daughters, April (Brian), Vicki and Katie; his stepdaughters, Shannon, Megan (Scott), Victoria (Kevin) and Emma; his grandchildren, Ronan, Zoe, Isaac, Iris, Andrew, Lily and Beatrice; his mother June Phelps; his brothers, Greg Phelps and Jason Phelps; and his close friend Rita Scherba.
