She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus McLeod and Annie McLeod; and her husband John Gideon. She is survived by: her children, James Nanibush of Sudbury, Gloria McLeod of North Bay and John Gideon of Brampton; her grandchildren, Brook, Natasha, Laura, Kaylyn, Katrina, Cataleya and Vincent; and her siblings, Barbara Southwind (late David) of Sagamok, Audrey King (late Bill) of Thessalon and Leslie McLeod of Barrie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the New Sagamok Community Centre. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St-Raphael's. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the New Sagamok Cemetery.
