We bid farewell to James Alton Lecappelain (North Bay, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 22, 2024 at the age of 70. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his former wife Jeannie Lecappelain; and his father Alton Lecappelain. He is survived by: his wife Heather Johnston; his mother Marie Lecappelain; his siblings, Steve Lecappelain (Karen), Bruce Lecappelain (Carolyn), Larry Lecappelain, David Wardell and Nancy Walsh (late Mike); and his brother-in-law Wayne Bray. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim Lecappelain's name to the North Bay Minor Hockey Association. Donations can be made at the visitation for James at the West Ferris Arena, or directly to the North Bay Minor Hockey Association by e-transfer to [email protected].
