She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gagnon and Yvonne Gagnon; and her siblings, Eileen Major (Bob), Gerald Gagnon and Fernande Gagnon.
She is survived by: her husband Léo Lafontaine; her children, Pauline Pinkerton (late Peter), Daniel Lafontaine (Michelle) and Paul Lafontaine; her grandchildren, Josh, Mackenzie, Marie, Luc and Erik; and her siblings, Mariette Gagnon, Rollande Gagnon, Joanne Pearson (Ed), Gerard Gagnon (Suniva), Jean-Paul Gagnon, Daniel Gagnon (Nancy), Diane Chirgwin (Terry), Andre Gagnon (Veronique), Roger Gagnon, Marguerite Tremblay (Brian) and Marie Stewart (John).
A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Église St-Vincent-De-Paul de North Bay (1265 Wyld St, North Bay, ON P1B2A9).
