He was predeceased by: his wife Irene (Swieton); and his parents, Katherine and Michael. He is survived by: his children, Kas (Alana) and Sophie Brochu (André); and his siblings, Stan, Salome, Frank, Joe, Joanne, Julia and England. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hillside Funeral Services Ltd. (362 Airport Rd, North Bay, ON P1B8W9). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church (163 High St, Callander, ON P0H1H0). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3).
In lieu of flowers we would ask any donations be to your choice of the Nipissing Serenity Hospice, or St. Alphonsus Liguori Parish, Callander, or Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Catharines.
