He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Desroches and Delissa Dagenais; and his siblings, Margerite, Florence, Mireille, Colette, Georgette, Louis Sr., Gerard, Francois, Gilbert, Raymond and Jean.

He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Richard (Aline), Donald, Teresa (late Roger Sr.) and Patricia Deforge (Pierre); his grandchildren, Roger Jr. (Chum), Lynn, Jessica and Vincent; and his brother Marcel. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren & 3 adopted great grandchildren.
