He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilas Lavoie and Rollande Lavoie; and his sister Jocelyne (Jean-Noel). He is survived by: his wife Lynn; his sons, Michael Lance (Kerri Jo) of North Bay, Dan Christopher (Robynne) of North Bay and Leo (Alexandra) of Montreal; his stepdaughter Cheryl Lee Carver of Barrie; his grandchildren, Karl of Three-Rivers, Kathleen of Montreal, Crystal of Barrie, Alesha (Julian) of Toronto and Finley; and his siblings, Diane (Jean-St-Pierre), Valere (Claudette Bordeleau), Sylvie (Gerald Michaud), Guylaine (Jean-Guy Beaulieu), Francis (Denise Banville), Brigitte (Michael Ouelette) and Edith (Andre Desilet). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
As per current COVID 19 directives the total number of attendees is limited and masks or face coverings are required inside the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice would be appreciated.
