In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Alfred leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Alfred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Alkins; his children, Dale Alkins (Christine) and Andrew Alkins (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Chloé, Gabrielle, Aubré and Èllis; and his siblings, Valery (Ken Smith), Doug Alkins (Connie) and Penny Beal (late Ron). He is also survived by his boys and grandchildren.
Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation in memory of Alfred will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
