He was predeceased by: his mother Grace Baker (Greer); and his parents-in-law, Robert Nixon and Shirley Nixon (Rodford). He is survived by: his wife Jane Baker (Nixon); his children, Michelle Rathwell (Chris) of North Augusta and Scott Baker (Ali) of Toronto; his grandchildren, Grace and Dillon Rathwell; his stepmother Charol Baker (Kirkland); his stepsister Joann Dishaw (Ryan); his siblings-in-law, Debbie Nixon, Rob Nixon (Jackie) and Tim Nixon (Paulette); and also John Baker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0). A reception was held on Friday, August 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn Reception Centre (2451 County Rd 15, Maitland, ON K0E1P0).
As expressions of sympathy Jeff has requested that donations are made to the Multiple Sclerosis of Canada.
