It is with profound sadness that the family of Emmett Thane Yeo announces his peaceful passing on April 21, 2022 at the age of 83 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Sandra Clark (Jeff McGolrick), Candace Chartier (Patrick Chartier), Emmett Yeo (Sharon Yeo), Debbie Germyn, Gary Yeo, Crystal Clark, Garth Yeo, Heather Yeo (late) and grandchildren: Mackenzie Clark, Mitchell Clark, Jacqueline Chartier, Carter Chartier, Spencer Yeo, Isaac Yeo, David Germyn, Darin Germyn, Shanon Roberts, Brandi Yeo, Sean Clark, Corey Clark, Joshua Zondervan-Allen, Drew Yeo, Shane Yeo, Carin Yeo, Neil Boyce, Stephanie Boyce and Trevor Boyce; as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Thane was born and raised in Prince Edward Island, he moved to Coboconk in 1977 to raise his family with his ex-wife Terry Yeo. Thane was an entrepreneur, the Reeve of Bexley Township and an avid pilot who loved to land his plane on Silver Lake.
Celebration Of Life Friends are invited to visit with the family at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH #519 COBOCONK 2916 County Road #48 Coboconk, Ontario on Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2022 from 1-4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Summit Wellness Centre in Coboconk would be appreciated by the family.
