He was predeceased by: his brother Larry Matschke. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie; his children, Jeffrey, Michael and Cathy; his son-in-law Graham; his granddaughters, Isabel and Luna; and his brother Kevin. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
