He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Allan and Dorothy Allan; his wife Barbara (McCarey); and his brother Don. He is survived by: his children, David, Heather of Port Dover, Robert of Simcoe, Elizabeth Horton (John) of Mt. Carmel and Ill; his grandchildren, Sarah Elku (Joe), Ryan Wilhelm, Kate Moore (Andrew), Raeanne Horton, Madison, Logan Mackenzie, Kennedy, Evan, Alexis, James and Henry; and his brothers, Jack and Hugh.
