He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Bernice; his brother Alex; and his brother-in-law Ivan Church. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Alison of Port Dover and Peter (Christie) of Port Dover; his grandchildren, Jesse and Charlie; his siblings, Bertha Church of Simcoe and Alan MacKenzie (Cathy) of Selkirk; and his siblings-in-law, Bevan, Sheila Smith of Simcoe and Joan MacKenzie of Avonmore.
