He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dennis and Ruth Dennis; and his siblings, Wanda Hope (Bob), Celie Dennis, Keith Dennis (Hazel), Erwin Dennis (Olive), Reagh Dennis and Emily Dennis.
He is survived by: his spouse Julia; his children, Graham Dennis (Karen), Gregory Dennis (Cynthia), Angela Jessop (Brian) and Philip Dennis (Vincent Chan); his grandchildren, Philip, Andrea, Mark, Scott, Amber Andrew (Dennis), Anna, Leah and Nicole (Jessop); his great grandchildren, Charlie, John, Philippa (Dennis) and BreaghMcCabe; and his sisters-in-law, Arnett Dennis, Maralee Dennis of South Dakota, Edgar Dennis, Janet Dennis, Rose Marie Dennis of Halifax and Jenny Dennis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Dover, St. James' Anglican, Port Hill, or the Warplane Heritage Museum.
