He was predeceased by: his parents, William Chambers and Mabel Chambers; his siblings, Lois Chambers, Verna Lindsay, Doris Macaulay, Doreen Armstrong, Ilene Doherty and Max Chambers; and his brothers-in-law, John Lindsay, Reg Armstrong, Doug Mulholland and Ben Doherty.

He is survived by: his spouse Laurraine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
