He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donat Monette and Cecile Carriere; his wife Jacqueline Monette (Venne); his children, Diane Thomson (late Frank Thomson), Marc Monette (Lisa Erlik) and Vincent Monette (Jan Kemp); his siblings, Rose Mai, Armande (late Elger Pitre), Raymonde, Raymond (Claudette Carriere), Laurent (late Patricia Thompson), Julien (Karen Chaplick), Lucille, Cyril (Della Purcell), Richard (Rose Comeau), Michel (late Carole Bouchard) and Anne; his grandchildren, Heather (John), Simon, Nathan, Samuel, Jayson, Jeremy and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Ellie, Lorraine (Rainey), Emily and Daniel; and also, Denyse (Edouard Seguin), Denis (Collette Vaillencourt) and Ronald (Constance Jack). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many, many cousins.
