It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Harmatiuk in Nipigon, Ontario, who passed away on November 21, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Cindy; his brothers, Steve and Albert (Polly Harmatiuk); and his parent Theresas. He is survived by: his wife Joan Cormier; his sons, Michael and Richard; his siblings-in-law, Robert, Richard Cormier and Valma Harmatiuk; his grandsons, David Vandal and Collin Harmatiuk; his sister Theresa Sloan; and his sister-in-law Patsy Winfield. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
