She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Kusick; and her parents, Joyce MacLeod and Maurice MacLeod. She is survived by: her daughter Eveline Maedel (John); her grandsons, T. J. (Phoebe) and Charles (Mat); and her siblings, Lorraine MacLeod, Ruth Rothwell (Darren) and Ian MacLeod (Elaine).

If friends so desire, donations in Maureen's memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, St. Mary's Anglican Church, TBRHSF or Nipigon District Memorial Hospital.
