She was predeceased by: her brother Alex Orlik. She is survived by: her husband Larry; her children, Fred and Charlene; and her grandchildren, Frannie (Brian), Michelle, Alex, Fred, Jackie (James) and Jaxsyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Sophy maintained a positive attitude towards her Parkinson's disease.
