With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lena Neeltje Byl (Niagara on the Lake, Ontario), who passed away on September 3, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandson Corey; and her siblings, Dirk, Hugo, Neeltje and Cor.
She is survived by: her husband Leendert (Len); her children, Lane Byl (Margaret), Casey Byl (Valerie), May Simpson (Alan), Richard Byl (Linda) and Marinus Byl (Beverley); her grandchildren, Marlena, Jason, Sarah, Melissa, Derek, Cassandra, Lane, Christopher and Whitney; her stepgrandchildren, Brett, Maureen, Ben, Dustin, Sarah, Jade and Jared; and her siblings, Cok Vanderlinden and Dingena Vanfeleius. She is also survived by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish to make a memorial donation may do so to the Niagara Health Foundation and the Erland Lee Museum Home of the Women's' Institute.
