He is survived by: his wife Hilda (Friesen); his siblings, Margarete Ledwez (Harry), George Kroeker (Ann), Helen Kraemer (George) and Willy Kroeker (Helen); his father-in-law Franz Friesen; and his siblings-in-law, Rudy Friesen (Dorothy), Karl Friesen (Linda), Helmut Friesen (Lucy), Lydia McKenzie (Rob) and Dory Fowler (Craig). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
