He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Christoph Hammerling and Linda Hammerling; his children, Gerald (Julia), Sara (Bernd) and Eric; and his grandchildren, Nathan, David, Aaron, Grace and Kate. He was also cherished by his extended family, and many great friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morgan Funeral Home (415 Regent St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Mark's Anglican Church (41 Byron St, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0).
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial donation to the Red Roof Retreat.
