We are sad to announce that on December 22, 2022, at the age of 94, Harry John Van De Laar in Niagara on the Lake, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his siblings, John (Mary), Bill (late Margo), Peter (Cathy) and Maria; and his siblings-in-law, Joanne (late Arie), John (Margaret), Harry (Dorothy), Ann (late Ron), Frank (Kathleen), Bill (Ann) and Maria.

He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Peter (Tara), Dori Schwenker (Ken), Henry (Kim), Karen Hills and Paul; his grandchildren, Jennifer Boehm (Kyle), Alex (Grace), Caitlyn Clow (Jarrod), Brittany (Dave), Mathew Schwenker (Alyssa) and Nick Schiavo; his brothers, Frank and Ted (late Donna); and his siblings-in-law, Wilhelmina (late Joe), Thea (late Paul), Tina (Del), Ria (late Joe), Pauline and Maggie.

In Harry's memory, donations to Niagara Warehouse of Hope and or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada, are greatly appreciated.
