He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Brinsmead and Mary Wilson; his wife Joyce Hilda Taverner; his brother Reginald (Joyce); his children, Stephen (Carol), Raymond (Robin), Michael (Jeanne), Sharon (Tony) and Shelley (Howard); and his grandchildren, Tommy, Hilary, Shaun, Ally, Hannah, Tyler, Bethany and Emily. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Niagara-on-the-Lake Community Palliative Care Services.
