With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Giovanna Antonia Arghittu of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario, who passed away on September 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Giovanna Antonia Arghittu to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francesca Cocco (Nieddu) and San Nicolo; her husband Emilio Arghittu; and her siblings, Angelina Secchi (Francesco), Gesuino Cocco, Mariuccia Arghittu (Antonio) and Salvatore Cocco.
She is survived by: her children, Josie Atmekjian (Raffi) and John (Charlene Juras); her grandchildren, Simone (Aaron), Quinn and Jason D'Annunzio (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Iyla, Aubrey and Jaxon; and her parents-in-law, Jane Cocco, Adriana Iddau, Peter Arghittu (Maria) and Vincenza Arghittu.
As per Giovanna's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Canadian Liver Foundation and The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
