He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his brother Joe Protulipac; his stepsiblings, Frank Vronick, Michael Vronick, Anne Milner and Katie Avery; his parents, Helen Protulipac and Michael Protulipac; and his stepson Daniel Mauger.

He is survived by: his child Kim Baergen (Mark Hicks); his stepchildren, David Mauger (Cindy), Diane Rusert (James) and Darsi Kindron (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Zachary Baergen (Emma), Josh Baergen (Marnie) and Alexandra Wiens (Matty); his great grandchild Benson; and his sister Helen Prince. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Parkinson's foundation would be greatly appreciated.
