We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2024, at the age of 76, Donald John Goertzen of Niagara on the Lake, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goertzen and Aganetha Goertzen (Agnes) of Niagara; his in-laws, Arthur and Leona Gough; his grandson Donald Hearn (D. J.); and his nephew Kenny Goertzen.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Goertzen (Gough); his children, Penny Goertzen, John Goertzen (Regina), David Chassie (Pam), Darlene Bach (Darrick), Bob Chassie (Lisa) and Rick Chassie (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Jacob Barnard, Donovan, Elaine, Meghan Goertzen, Samantha, Aaron Chassie, Randy Hearn, Karli Bach, Kayla Donovan, Michelle Chassie, Josh, Coty and Allie Chassie. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
