William Goertz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Goertz of Niagara Falls, Ontario, born in New Hamburg, Ontario, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Goertz and Maria Goertz; and his brothers, Henry and David. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his sons, Ted (Monika), Jim (Carla), Mike (Cindy) and Steve (Wendy); and his grandchildren, T. J., Angela, Matthew, Kyle, Ian, Holly and Noah. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bethany Mennonite Church (572 E & West Line, Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON L0S1J0). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
