He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Stuart Higgins and Flora MacDonald Ball; his wife Nora Wheeler of St. Catharines; his sister Connie Sampson of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.; his children, David Higgins (Janice Dunbar) of Goderich and Linda Drown (John Drown) of Barrie; his stepchildren, Debbie, Kathleen, Paul and John of Niagara; and his great grandchildren, Sasha, Isabelle and Emeline.
Memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Alexandra Marine & General Hospital Foundation.
