She was predeceased by: her husband Tony; her parents, Frank Simon and Julia Simon; her siblings, Frank Simon and Helen Domjan (Joe); and her sister-in-law Liz Allan (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Bertran (Rick), Tony Phillip (Jackie), Brenda Breton (Richard) and Joe Phillip (Ellen); her grandchildren, Preston, Spencer Vendramin, Andrew Phillip (Loveita), Dalton Phillip (Ilana), Brie-Anne Vandam (Andrew), Chantal Breton, Joel (Linda), Kevin, Ryan Phillip and Rachel Racey (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Ezra Phillip, Lilà Phillip, Nevia Phillip, Ellie Vandam and Isaac Racey; and her sister-in-law Gert Simon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In memory of Violet, memorial contributions may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society, and would be appreciated.
