She was predeceased by: her husband Tony; her parents, Frank Simon and Julia Simon; her siblings, Frank Simon and Helen Domjan (Joe); and her sister-in-law Liz Allan (Jack).
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Bertran (Rick), Tony Phillip (Jackie), Brenda Breton (Richard) and Joe Phillip (Ellen); her grandchildren, Preston, Spencer Vendramin, Andrew Phillip (Loveita), Dalton Phillip (Ilana), Brie-Anne Vandam (Andrew), Chantal Breton, Joel (Linda), Kevin, Ryan Phillip and Rachel Racey (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Ezra Phillip, Lilà Phillip, Nevia Phillip, Ellie Vandam and Isaac Racey; and her sister-in-law Gert Simon. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In memory of Violet, memorial contributions may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society, and would be appreciated.
