She was predeceased by: her siblings, Arlene, Frances, Leonard and Kenny. She is survived by: her son Edward Flynn; and her siblings, Donald, Leslie, Richard, Gerald, George, Sharon, Wendy, Kathy and Anita.

Respecting the restrictions of COVID-19 (see thebao. ca), friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Sunday February 13, 2022 from 1 to 4 pm.

Sylvia had a fondness for animals, and donations made The Niagara SPCA and Humane Society would be appreciated.

“To the family of Sylvia. We were her neighbours for about 15 years. She was a hard worker and loved her garden. She was always dropping off veggies for us to enjoy. She also loved to bake and shared her sweets with us. She loved animals and I am sure her kitty will miss her dearly. When the lord calls our loved ones home, he leaves the gift of memories in exchange. We will miss Sylvia very much. She is not in anymore pain and is at peace now. Love Adam and Debbie Resch”
