He is survived by: his spouse Mei Chon; his children, Susan Lai (David Lai), Tony Fong (Sandra Fong) and Wendy Fong (Doug Wong); his grandsons, Brian Fong, Raymond Fong, Felix Lai (Parul Tangri) and Stewart Lai (Wendy Chen); his great grandchild Rian Tangri Lai; and his siblings, Bo Kew Seto and Sea Juan Fong (Pua Lan Fong).
