He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pietrangelo and Angelina Pietrangelo; and his parents-in-law, Giacomo, Maria Santangelo, Frank Pietrangelo (late Anna), Elia D'Angelo (late Amedio), Antoinetta DiGiovanni (late Bartolome), Chiarina Palumbo (late Gus), Bartolameo 'Benny Pietrangelo, Gino Pietrangelo, Joe Pietrangelo, Anna Pietrangelo and Sam Di Carlo.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his children, Michael (Holly), Nicholas (Anne) and Louise ElNaggar (Fouad); his grandchildren, Dante, Elijah, Amelia, Osiris, Apollonia, Toci and Luna; his siblings, Donato Pietrangelo (Cathy), Victor Pietrangelo (Danielle), Mary Di Carlo, Carmela Pietrangelo and Nadia Pietrangelo; and his siblings-in-law, John St (Edmay), Michael St. Angelo and Carolyn Ladas.
