Rosanna Margaret Tries Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosanna Margaret Tries of Niagara Falls, Ontario, who passed away on July 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cecil Carroll and Ruby Olive Beam; her sisters, Marcella (Dick Hennessey) and Lenora (John Paul Huard); her siblings-in-law, Wanda Carroll and Marcel Langlois; and her parents-in-law, Jack Tries, Henry, Hugette Tries and John Pinkernelle.

She is survived by: her husband John Tries of Niagara Falls; her children, Mary Vautour (Dan), Ann Makarenko (Nick), John Tries (Jorge), Frank Tries (Kelly), Joe Tries and Lizzy Belfry (Dave); her grandchildren, Joseph Vautour, Danielle Cawte (Joe), Laura Vautour, Annie Vautour, Emma Makarenko, Frank Tries Jr. (Ryanna), Clare Schell (Ash), Katherine Babcock (Tyson), Rebecca De Monte (Nic), Sarah Lambert (Matt), Bridget Belfry (Sam) and Carlin Belfry (Ellie); her siblings, Jeannie Langlois, Johnny Carroll and Larry Carroll; and her parents-in-law, Frank Tries, Jeannette Tries, Margaret Pinkernelle, Peter and Shirley Tries. She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations made to Diabetes Canada, Alzheimer's Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Covenant House would be appreciated by the family.
