He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lemon and Lorna Lemon; and his brother Kent. He is survived by: his children, Blair Lemon (Traci) and Michelle Saarinen (Matthew); his grandchildren, Jamie, Alexa, Olivia and Jacob; and his siblings, Garry Lemon (late Anne), Claudia Updike (Phil) and Rosemary Jasinski (Wally). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
