Rita Iesulauro Obituary
IESULAURO, Rita - Passed away peacefully at her residence, while holding the hand of her beloved husband, on Thursday April 25, 2024, at the age of 81. Dearly loved wife of 60 years to Rivoli and cherished mother of Michael (Angie) Iesulauro of Burlington and Tanya (John) Drake of Michigan. Loving grandmother of Matthew, Megan Iesulauro and Braydon, Ashton Drake.
Rita is predeceased by her parents Antonio and Antonietta DeAngelis. Rita will be missed by her brother Mario (late Franca) DeAngelis, as well as her many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and dear friends. Rita was a pillar of strength and energy.
She always welcomed people with her warm smile and kind words. She touched so many through her social nature and genuine interest in people. Whether hosting gatherings with friends and family or volunteering with the GNGH Ladies Auxiliary, Rita's warmth and generosity touched the lives of many.
Rita and Rivoli had a blessed life full of happiness, travel, friends, and family. Rita took tremendous pride in her children and grandchildren, delighted by every milestone and showering them with love and affection. Her presence will be deeply missed, and she will be forever cherished and loved by them.
Her family will be forever grateful for the generosity shown by her friends over the past year. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Friday May 3, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Vigil prayers will be celebrated at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday May 4, 2024, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Scapular Church. The Rite of Committal will take place at a later date at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hamilton.
