We bid farewell to Leona McPhail (Niagara Falls, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 28, 2024 at the age of 90. Leona touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Archibald; her parents, James Barnes and Isabel Barnes; and her siblings, Louis Barnes (Margaret), Teresa Smith (Bill), Julie Whitsitt and Ed Barnes.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Hoople (late Dennis), Pat Gaston (Denny), Cathy Arenburg (David) and Kevin McPhail (Anna); her grandchildren, Jessica Hamissi (Ntayega), Shaunna Putney (Bill), Brandon Arenburg (Glenna), Matthew McPhail and Julia McPhail; her great grandchildren, Emmett Putney, Ethan and Aiden Arenburg; her siblings, Florence Daniels (late Bob), Robert Barnes (late Barbara), Marie Cook (Brian) and Joe Barnes (Rose); and her sisters-in-law, Linda Barnes and Gertrude Bennett (late Joe).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (3882 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G6B6).
