He is survived by: his wife Marie; his stepdaughters, Sheila Dowe (Rex Lane), Sherry Reber-Roberts, Carol Bell (Randy) and Crystal Woolmer (Kevin); and his siblings, Doreen, Verna and Greg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In memory of Ken, memorial contributions may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society and would be appreciated by his family.

“To the family of one of the smartest, funniest and most gracious patients I’ve ever had, I am so sorry for your loss. I am filled with gratitude at the chance to know him from his first day with us until almost his last. I will miss him calling down the hall reprimanding me for missing our daily check-in. His stories either made me barrel over with laughter, or cause an empathetic tear. He is already missed by all who cared for him. My sympathies to his family. Thank you for your laughter.”
