She was predeceased by: her brother Ed Barnes (Linda); her daughter Margaret Whitsitt; her parents, Isabelle Barnes and James Barnes; and her former husband William Whitsitt.

She is survived by: her close friend Ken Lair; her children, Bill Whitsitt (Heather), Art Whitsitt (Judy), Corrine Stiver and Teresa Brandt (Rob); and her siblings, Louie Barnes (late Margaret), Bob Barnes (late Barb), Joey Barnes (Rose), Florence Daniels (Jim), Leona McPhail (late Archie), Marie Cook (Brian) and Theresa Smith. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
