John Kolbuc Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 79, John Kolbuc (Niagara Falls, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Roger Kolbuc; his sister-in-law Krys Potapczyk (Bob Pomerantz); and his parents, John Kolbuc and Bernice Markowski. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Barbara Gyasi (Agyei), Joanne Bonadie (John) and Richard Kolbuc (Barbara); his grandchildren, Maja, Aleksandra Gyasi, Nicholas and Valerie Bonadie; his brother Philip Kolbuc (Bernadette); his brother-in-law Les Potapczyk (Peggy); and his pets, Ziggy, Petey and Zoey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Patterson Funeral Home (6062 Main St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G5Z9). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church.
In memory of John, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic School, Niagara Falls to support the nutrition program and would be appreciated by his family.
