She was predeceased by: her husband Jaan; her close friend Ilmar Toomson; her children, Matti Karner (late Marjorie) and Alexander Karner (Amiee); her children-in-law, Lynn Karner and Donnie Reid; and her children, Maie Gibson (Larry), Tonu Karner and Hilda Reid.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Bryant Karner (Amanda), Tiffany Mafi (Parham), Randy Gibson (Jennifer), Jamie Rumbold (Randy), Melissa Gouveia (Michael), Brittany Karner, Brian Reid, Alexander Karner Jr. (Kaya), Antoinette Karner, Lucas Karner (Victoria) and Olivia Karner. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
